Lockheed Martin Inventory Control Specialist in Grand Prairie, Texas
Description: You will be the Inventory Control Specialist B for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Grand Prairie, TX.
As a Inventory Control Specialist B, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Support shop floor production and perform all duties required to load/unload, store, issue and deliver in their area a variety of materials, tools, parts, and equipment while maintaining Production Control, Cost Control, and accurate Inventory Reports.
• Collect all materials, tools, and blueprints required for a part, assembly or tool from the appropriate Stores.
• Perform a variety of material handling duties including loading and unloading, storage, issue, work order transfer to proper work area, and delivery within their own area a variety of manufacturing tools, parts, and equipment.
• Operate lifting and loading equipment with occasional use of hand/power tools and saws.
• Use SAP to make material movements.
• Move completed items from one area to the next and read the work order to that new operation’s appropriate location.
• Assist shop personnel in the movement of required work in their area.
• Arrange materials within racks, bins, and shelves to facilitate efficient storage of parts and materials.
• Prepare and complete necessary paperwork.
• Use a Personal Computer for checking the status and location of parts.
• Originate and maintain required records and logs.
• Verify all material to documentation required to perform listed duties.
• Utilize and operate appropriate equipment to facilitate the movement of items between locations.
• May be required to handle hazardous materials.
This position is in a union environment that is driven by seniority so you may be asked to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift with the possibility of having to work overtime and work on the weekends depending on business unit needs.

This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX Discover Grand Prairie.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School degree or equivalent and twelve months related experience required.
• Prior warehousing experience.
• Prior experience operating a forklift.
• Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to facility requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
