Lockheed Martin Digital Circuit Card Designer in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: As a Circuit Card Designer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. You will be helping us solve the world’s most difficult challenges supporting such wide-ranging domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. What You Will Be Doing

As a Circuit Card Designer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Subject matter expert in high speed digital circuit and signal integrity analysis electrical designer.

- Focus on electrical design, simulation and verification/validation testing of high-speed printed circuit board design and electronic system.

- Work independently and serve as a subject matter expert in digital design and signal integrity to perform design, simulation, and validation activities through product development cycles.

It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).

Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Basic Qualifications:

- Electrical Engineering degree or similar

- Skilled circuit card designer for digital circuits/components

- Proficient with high speed interfaces

- Proficient with Siemens Xpedition schematic tool

- Proficient with signal integrity analysis

Desired Skills:

- Excellent communication skills

- Experienced designer using DDR4s

- Familiar with AMD devices

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
