Trinity Health Radiology Technologist - Medical Imaging in Grand Haven, Michigan

Description:

Summary:

Performs a wide variety of technical radiologic procedures using standard, portable, and/or specialized x-ray equipment to apply an appropriately determined amount of ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illness and injuries.

What you will need:

  • Completion of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology Program.

  • Must be a Registered Technologist or be registry eligible. Registry eligible employees must become registered within twelve months from date of hire.

  • Must maintain continuing education credits per biennium to retain registry in compliance with the CE requirements of their certifying organization for the imaging modality in which they perform services.

  • Certification or re-certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire.

  • Graduation from approved Radiologic Technologist Program.

What you will do:

  • Performs related tasks such as assisting patients in positioning for correct anatomical exposure

  • Maintaining order and cleanliness of work area

  • Performing routine clerical tasks

  • Must be comfortable working in a wide variety of settings including, but not limited to: general x-ray, fluoroscopy, surgery, emergency department, critical care units, and neo-natal
