Robert Half Payroll Analyst in Glen Allen, Virginia

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry based in GLEN ALLEN, Virginia. This role is primarily responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly and monthly payroll for Canada, Trinidad & Tobago, and the US. You will also be required to handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system and assist with end-of-month variances and payroll discrepancies in forecast versus actual.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and processing of biweekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions.

• Coordinate efforts between payroll and human resources to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.

• Prepare and distribute detailed reports such as overtime analysis, leave balances, and retirement contribution reports.

• Review integration reports and Workday Global Reporting and correct any errors.

• Handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system, including the entry of employee data and monitoring submissions of approved timesheets.

• Ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll service.

• Utilize software tools including ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Kronos Timekeeping System, and Microsoft Excel.

• Perform various accounting and benefit functions.

• Process check payments as required. Requirements • Candidate must have experience in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Knowledge of Ceridian and Kronos Timekeeping System is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Candidate should have experience in 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Familiarity with About Time, Accounting Functions, and Benefit Functions is necessary.

• Experience in Check Processing within the Chemicals Manufacturing industry is preferred.
