Position Description:

The Electrician II will lead and perform electrical duties to include installation, preventative maintenance, and code compliance for a specific client(s). This position follows to all Federal, State and Local laws.

Position Qualifications:

  • Electrical Certification or License.

  • Three (3) plus years of experience as an Electrician Apprentice and/or a combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and communicate instructions.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

  • Basic computer skills such as internet, email, electronic manual, etc.

  • Ability to learn additional programs quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six (6+) plus years’ experience as an electrician.

  • Prior work experience in a commercial setting.

Essential Duties:

  • Ability to trouble-shoot with mid-level knowledge regarding controls and power electrical systems.

  • Remove and replace motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses, and primary control components.

  • Ability to use electronic systems using ladder logic, diagrams, and schematics.

  • Ability to make new installation wiring hook-ups and upgrade present equipment

  • Mid-level assembling, inspecting adjusting, repairing, or replacing faulty parts and wiring on all types of electronic and electrical devices.

  • Support mechanical and electrical repairs

  • Perform mid-level mechanical operations, repair, and maintenance to building systems to include automatic transfer switches, UPS/battery storage, emergency generators, and photovoltaic systems.

  • Interpret and understand Federal, State, and local code ordinances.

  • Must be able to work varying shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
