**Summary The purpose of this position is general maintenance of facilities: make needed repairs, keep pastures mowed, routine maintenance work to ensure students, staff and faculty have a safe comfortable work environment. Assist with repair and upkeep all HVAC equipment, plumbing, and electrical. General maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Receive work orders
• Assist with plumbing and welding activities.
• Painting
• Mowing Equine/Ag Pastures
• Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change based on the needs of the department and the institution.

**Required Education: [GED or high school diploma

Required Experience:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}**

• Two (2) years general maintenance experience
• Two (2) years experience mowing pastures.
• HVAC certification or experience perferred

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of Carpentry, Plumbing, Welding, Construction, painting and mowing.

Subject to criminal background check. Resume is required in addition to application. Salary is $36,087. This position is located on our Gainesville campus. Travel between campuses and to off-site locations may be expected.
