Responsibilities

Riverview Regional Medical Center is looking for an exceptionalfull time, night shiftLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Progressive Care Unit team. Our LPN duties include, but are not limited to:

• provide direct and indirect patient care services which requires technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care

• meets the communication needs of the patient and family

• performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• current and valid Alabama state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse

• current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

• one year experience in an applicable setting, preferred

• IV certification within 30 days and maintain current

• ACLS (AHA) certification within 60 days and maintain current

• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) training within six (6) months of hire and maintain current
