Trinity Health Nurse Practitioner - Oncology Medical Group in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Description:

*According to established protocols, conducts clinical assessment of the patients

health care status and needs and provides patient care to facilitate expected patient

outcomes. Triages emergency walk in patients.

*Provides counseling and education to patients in order to enhance patient care

*Documents care provided in order to support the continuity of patient care and

optimum patient outcomes

*Participates in regular staff activities and staff responsibilities including teaching and

attendance at required meetings.

  • Follows HCMG QA & I/UR guidelines; shows and expresses concern for quality performance and

exercises initiative to suggest change/improvement within the scope of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications

*Master's Degree in Nursing is required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience is required

(preferably in oncology).

  • Privileges and/or eligibility to apply are necessary.

  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments is necessary.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

Licensure:

  • Current BLS is required

  • Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida.
