*Hybrid Position - Must reside in the South Florida area*

Develops partnerships with ACO/CIN leaders and network providers to support care redesign, performance improvement and a better experience for members and providers. Further collaborates to develop and implement programs that successfully achieve measurable improvement in quality, safety, service and financial outcomes.

Serves as the subject matter expert for payer programs and value-based contracts.

Collaborates with the population health business intelligence team to develop analytics, actionable information, tools and programs needed for network providers to optimize performance in value-based contracts.

Accountable for achieving financial goals for the network within agreed upon time frames

Accountable to provide for effective and efficient care at the right time and place in order to improve health outcomes and health status.

Has a working understanding and also values the vision and strategies of Population Health; leads efforts to support partnering to become more accountable for better care, better experiences and reduced healthcare costs for the populations the network serves.

Identifies and disseminates evidenced-based care management processes that can be replicated across the joint network and with work groups responsible for development of care processes and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Ensures care management practices meet regulatory/payer requirements.

Develops, implements and monitors care management performance metrics to ensure programs support care management and coordination of care.

Assumes responsibility for building and maintaining a robust network of high value providers across the care continuum. Establishes meaningful relationships with leadership from Local CINs and from various physician provider organizations and ensures network participants are sufficiently supported.

Oversees all internal fiscal operations including financial planning, budgeting and reporting.

Provides leadership, guidance and support to all operational committees and task forces of the Atlantic Coast Health Network Board of Managers.

Works collaboratively with finance and managed care leadership to design, negotiate and monitor payment arrangements with commercial payers in order to maximize market opportunities.

Accountable for implementing strategies that result in more efficient, cost effective operations while maximizing technology and responsiveness.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Accountable for achieving superior customer service.

Accountable to serve Local Clinically Integrated Network constituencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess knowledge of healthcare delivery and management as normally acquired through completion of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field and approximately five or more years of progressively more responsible related work experience that includes physician group practice operations, consultative services, finance, and / or clinical operations management.

  • Knowledge and vision regarding the changing healthcare payment and delivery model including value-based reimbursement, risk-based arrangements,

population health dynamics, provider organization relationships, advanced technology support and other elements of accountable care.

  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, organizational, and communications skills required.

  • Has ability to create and / or maintain positive relationships with other

departments and entities.

  • A team player that is insightful and has the ability to develop excellent relationships.

  • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of assigned operations functions.

  • Successful past experiences managing professional personnel across a

variety of disciplines.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and meeting financial performance

objectives.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate in clear, concise terms to management and governance at all levels.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills in order to influence results and manage relationships with physicians in private practices and employed medical groups. Ability to drive and influence results, garner support and tactfully manage sensitive and complex relationships and influences.

*Advanced analytical skills in order to organize, plan and coordinate operational

activities and participate in development of long-range plans for the Network.
