Description:

OR Experience Required

  • Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients needs.

  • Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.

  • Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.

  • Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.

  • Completes Admission Assessment in time frame established, according to Policy and Procedure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or > 3 years of experience.

Licensure

  • Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Florida

  • Current BLS required; Current ACLS, if required for your area; PALS, if required for your work area, to be completed within 1 year of employment date and maintained
