Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30 pm

Summary

Schedules and monitors inbound delivery appointments to enhance warehouse productivity and customer service level. Provides follow-up to ensure timely arrival of shipments as scheduled. Flow/ Drop outbound in a timely manner to serve our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule inbound for European Import appointments using SWMS, SUS and a daily inbound spreadsheet.

  • Log inbound late arrivals and reschedules for tracking purposes.

  • Maintain an evenly distributed receiving schedule for warehouse personnel.

  • Work with warehouse personnel to identify potential detention issues and necessary scheduling modifications.

  • Report any unresolved issues to management.

  • Process outbound orders - flow/drop from SUS to SWMS.

  • Create packing list, placards and cross dock summaries.

  • Forward Packing list and cross dock summaries to necessary departments.

  • Write, type, or enter accurate information into the computer to prepare reports and copy information from one record to another.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with company personnel and with management.

  • Send emails to necessary departments.

  • Maintain accurate files and filing systems to include operations documentation and other miscellaneous documents.

  • Observe all safety rules in an effort to reduce accidents and injuries and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.

  • Accept additional responsibilities or special projects as requested. Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Basic computer experience and skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, SWMS and SUS are required.
