Description We are looking for a Patient Registration Representative in the healthcare industry, located in French Camp, California. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in a hospital setting, where the representative will be required to interact with patients and their relatives, handle insurance verifications, and direct patients to appropriate services.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with patients and their relatives to gather necessary information

• Input patient details into the hospital system, ensuring completeness and accuracy

• Utilize patient account numbers and financial codes for record keeping

• Verify insurance or Medi-cal coverage through thorough checks of insurance ID cards and Medi-cal labels

• Ensure verification of Medi-cal coverage by examining records

• Clearly explain hospital rules, regulations, policies, and procedures pertaining to patient registration

• Direct patients to appropriate office, clinic or treatment facility center for services

• Maintain a system of clinic appointments for patients

• Utilize skills in Patient Eligibility and Medical Insurance Verification for efficient patient registration. Requirements • Applicant must possess a thorough understanding of Patient Eligibility procedures.

• Proficiency in conducting Insurance Verifications is required.

• Experience with Medical Insurance Verification is essential.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare industry and NHS protocols is necessary.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital.

• Must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Solid understanding of medical terminology and procedures is required.

• Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems is essential.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.

• Must respect patient confidentiality and adhere to all data privacy regulations.

• detail oriented approach and strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

• Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• Previous experience in a similar role in the healthcare industry is desirable.
