Lockheed Martin Lab Supplier Acquisition Engineer - Level 3 in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: We are Lockheed Martin

You will be a Lab Supplier and System Engineer (LSSE). The LSSE is responsible for the technical coordination with and management of the supplier to purchase the latest cutting edge technology, million dollar stimulator equipment that directly supports the F-35 and the warfighter.

What You Will Be Doing

As the LSSE System Engineer (Acquisition) you will be responsible purchasing and maintaining high fidelity, physics based, complex aircraft system stimulators.

Your responsibilities will include:

• $10 Million dollar or greater Contracts Management

• Testing inside the Stimulator lab environment

• Managing Sustainment Contracts for Hardware in the Loop Labs in Fort Worth and other locations

• Learning F-35 Avionics Interfaces to gain SME level knowledge

• Hardware in The Loop Lab SME for PME Stimulators

• Vendor Management

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline, or non-tech degree with relevant experience/combined education.

• Simulator / Lab Experience

• Sensor Stimulator and/or Test Experience

Desired Skills:

• F-35 Avionics Experience

• Knowledge of how testing inside the Stimulator lab environment works

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
