Robert Half HR Coordinator in Fort Worth, Texas

Description

We are seeking a proficient HR Coordinator to join our team in the wholesale distribution industry, based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves managing a broad range of HR duties such as pre-employment processing, onboarding, recruitment, and maintaining HR records.

Responsibilities:

• Redirect HR related calls and distribute correspondence or mail to the appropriate person on the team.

• Liaise with other departments or functions like payroll and benefits.

• Support the recruitment and hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, and assisting with the drug screen process.

• Assist with new hire pre-employment processing and perform employer verification checks.

• Assist with DOT Driver Qualification files and maintain accurate records.

• Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain the team’s agenda.

• Respond and assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

• Perform orientations, assist new hires with onboarding, and update records of new hires.

• Produce and submit reports on general HR activity and assist in ad-hoc HR projects such as collection of employee feedback.

• Provide employee documents to Risk and Legal as requested.

• Provide clerical support to the HR department and assist with reception phone coverage.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a HR Generalist role or similar position

• Experience in the Wholesale Distribution industry is desirable

• Proven skills in Interviewing, Onboarding, and developing Policies & Procedures

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
