Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

Eligible for Sign on Bonus

Day Shift: 8a-5:30p

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.

  • Degree Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required if graduated before 1/1/2016.

  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy required if graduated after 1/1/2016.

  • International Candidates: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).

  • Licensing:

  • Must hold or be eligible for a Physical Therapist license in the state where services will be provided.

  • State licensure must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.

  • Certifications:

  • Must be certified in CPR or obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment.

  • Must maintain all certifications and licenses as required.

  • Driving Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license required if assigned to drive a company vehicle.

  • If using a personal vehicle, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license are required.

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with lifting up to 100 pounds, and push up to 300 pounds.

  • Experience:

  • Work experience is preferred but not required beyond clinical experience obtained during your educational training program.

  • Other Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.

  • The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for cancer rehabilitation and working as a team in a dedicated cancer rehab space in our Packnett Family Cancer Center.

  • Candidate should have some inpatient or outpatient experience, have or be willing to take certification toward certified lymphedema therapist

  • Therapist will work with 100% cancer patients, spanning all tumor sites, and have the opportunity to have mentoring from a board-certified oncologic physical therapist as well as attend tumor boards, and collaborate with other members of the cancer team in order to best serve the patients.
