Summary

Under the direction of the VP Patient Care/Director - Ortho. Responsible for the organization, implementation, development, and physician alignment necessary to provide world class patient services, establishing and sustaining a patient-centered focus and through that focus, achieving the administrative, clinical, and financial goals established by Parkview Health, and in concert with all Parkview Health partners, physicians, and other leadership. Responsible for operational and clinical areas as assigned.

Education

Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). MSN preferred in an accredited program.

Licensure/Certification

Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required. Must have current CPR certification.

Experience

Must have five years nursing experience in Perioperative/Ambulatory Surgery Center services; ten years preferred. Understanding of all regulatory requirements, reimbursement, policy, and procedure, as well as payer contracting experience. Experience with project management related to new service implementation preferred. Minimum of two to three years of demonstrated leadership experience.

Other Qualifications

Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and shared lift 100 pounds.
