Primary Role:Competent Maintenance Supervisor for Latham Pool Products will be responsible for supervising the execution of various EHandS plans; training staff and keeping Maintenance Technicians actively scheduled and engaged in their work. An excellent Maintenance Supervisor must be reliable, highly energetic, thorough and have a great eye for detail. They must have technical skills and knowledge of various industrial machine systems including robotics, controls, PLC, hydraulics, 480v 3 phase power, chillers, and air compressors. Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling, and MRO parts ordering are also essential. The goal is to ensure that the maintenance team is actively always engaged and in a safe manor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance to all LOTO procedures.
  • Overall responsible for the readiness of the equipment and machines plus all buildings and grounds concerns.
  • Stock and store replacement and consumable machine parts.
  • Schedule Preventative Maintenance on Plant Systems utilizing CMMS.
  • Assist Technicians in Troubleshooting and Diagnosing Plant Problems.
  • Train Maintenance Department personnel in Operation, Troubleshooting and Maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system problems - both routine and complex using a defined method of troubleshooting to get to root cause.
  • Perform mechanical, welding and some machining duties.
  • Maintain equipment records.
  • Maintain PM schedules and work lists to direct Maintenance Technicians.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Degree in technical field is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum of 20 years maintenance or related-industry experience of which 10 years are in leadership.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work Overtime, Weekends, and Nights.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiar with personal computers.
  • Requires experience in mechanical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment.
  • The ability to work in a team environment, which includes being self-motivated, accepting responsibilities, completing assigned action items, and participating in a proactive manner in all team events.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
