Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

• Remove and replace hydraulic hoses on material handling, construction, manufacturing equipments, etc.
• Hands on job, able to diagnose, replace, manufacture and install blown hydraulic hoses
• Carry out service calls in Fort Wayne area using company service van
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• 40 hours work week minimum, normal hours 8.00a-4.30p M-F and rotating schedule for on-call

Essential Job Functions:

• Must be able to move 50lbs+ frequently and across short distances
• Must be able to move and traverse areas that can be uneven
• Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder to repair equipment
• Must be able to position self to repair equipment in small spaces as well as bend down frequently
• Must be able to occasionally work at heights possibly exceeding 25 ft with a safety harness.
• Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions
• Must be able to operate phones, tablets, and other technology
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Must be able to observe details at close range (within a few feet to a few inches of the observer)
• Must be able to be on-call one week approximately every other week, resulting in possible overtime
• Must be able to perform other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-3+ years professional experience in related field, Auto/Diesel/Forklift/Industrial mechanic
• Good Communication Skills
• Problem Solver
• Positive attitude
• Self-motivated
• Mature and Career Oriented (no job hoppers)
• Clean driving record MUST
• Ability to work on-call during nights and weekends
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Available for background check and drug screening
