Mental Health Technician (MHT) Opportunity ($16.25 hr)

Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females, ages 12-18 old. Since 1996, we have been dedicated to providing quality mental health treatment to adolescent females with chronic mental health needs nationwide. Gulf Coast Treatment Center provides comprehensive mental healthcare and education services for at risk female adolescents, families and our community.

We are currently seeking full-time Mental Health Technicians ($16.25) (MHT) for all shifts). Staff will work three days during the week, Monday through Friday, and every other weekend: 9am-9pm or 9pm-9am. The MHT functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing care to patients in a manner that promotes safety, comfort, and the therapeutic environment, while role modeling to adolescent girls ranging ages 12 through 18. MHTs provide supervision in a treatment or educational milieu; assists in the maintenance of a safe, secure environment that enhances treatment and/or educational effectiveness, and is able to intervene effectively in crisis situations.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Preferred a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous working experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass AHCA level 2 background screen and pre-employment drug screen.
