Army Installation Management Command Laborer NA-02 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Summary These positions are assigned to MWR, Business Operations Division, and will be referred out to the Recycle Center. Additional applications will be referred as vacancies occur Responsibilities Mows grass, lays sod, weeds flowerbeds, trims and edges walkways and lawns. Prunes shrubs and trees; applies fertilizer, waters plants, cleans out drainage ditches, shovels snow from walks and driveways. Loads and unloads conveyances; moves materials using wheelbarrows, hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges supplies for storage; collects refuse and recyclable materials. Cleans rugs and drapes. Cleans, waxes and polishes floors using heavy industrial-powered equipment. Moves heavy items of furniture and office equipment as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Three (3) month of laboring experience required. Must have the ability use, control and clean tools and power equipment used, and ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervisor of each task assigned Education This position does not have an education requirement. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
