Job Description

An employer is seeking an Ecommerce IT Project Manager for an equipment rental company in Fort Mill, SC. This individual will be working on projects surrounding mobile application deployments, releases and enhancements. The hiring manager is seeking experience with ecommerce platforms or dotcom experience. The Sr. IT Project Manager will work directly with the business, project, and technical teams and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of IT strategic projects from feasibility to closure as assigned. This will include (but not limited to) performing feasibility analysis, overseeing project planning, managing project scope, ensuring effective monitoring and controlling of project execution, and following IT PMO governances.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following: the ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously, have strong collaboration skills, and the ability to champion the use of technology for critical business needs. Because this role is interactive with our internal business customers, the candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and exhibit a customer-service oriented approach to working with stakeholders. The ideal candidate must also be able to work autonomously with little oversight, be driven, and show initiative.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or other related degree.

• Dotcom or Ecommerce platform experience

• Experience with ecommerce releases

   5-7+ years of progressive experience managing medium-to-large scale IT projects involving various technologies and project teams

   Experience developing complex project plans FROM SCRATCH to meet business objectives and building and developing project teams

   Agile methodology experience

   Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management functions

   Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project, MS SharePoint, and/or ServiceNow PPM Tool

   Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio

   Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal and presentation skills Experience working in IT PMO

   Experience working on projects with AS400/iSeries or another ERP System

   PMP (Project Management Professional) or Scrum Master certification

   Experience working with 3rd party vendors and/or offshore parties null
