SAIC Coordination and Deconfliction Analyst in FORT MEADE, Maryland

Description

SAIC is seeking a Cyberspace Operations Coordination and Deconfliction Analyst Watch Stander to be located at Fort Meade, Maryland. This position directly supports the USCYBERCOM Joint Operations Center (JOC) and is a member of the JOC Fires Support Cell. The Coordination and Deconfliction (C&D) analyst watch stander operates in a dynamic, 24/7 environment, and interacts daily with other JOC functional cells, the battle watch leadership, and USYCBERCOM components. The C&D analyst supports the Joint Operations Center (JOC) with technical deconfliction of specific requirements related to cyberspace operations. The C&D analyst watch stander offers a central deconfliction point for the synchronization of inter and intra-Departmental activities in the cyberspace domain.

Shifts Available:

  • Shift 1W - Saturday-Tuesday, 0500-1500

  • Shift 3 - Tuesday-Friday, 2300-0900

  • Shift 3W - Saturday-Tuesday, 2300-0900

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Perform technical deconfliction between USCYBERCOM, its components, US government partners, and allies in support of routine cyberspace operations, operational deconfliction, and public disclosure requests.

  • Consolidate input from USCYBERCOM components and integrated planning elements to develop a weekly cyberspace operations placemat used by senior USCYBERCOM, Joint Staff, and Defense of Department leaders.

  • Support C&D activities for cyberspace operations including exercises, global contingencies, and other emerging requirements.

  • Review all malware disclosure and information release requests and coordinate with the USCYBERCOM J39 and Public Affairs Officer for action.

  • Evaluate all deconfliction packages in JCC2 Cyber Operations (JCO) and take appropriate follow-on action.

  • Act as a JOC trusted agent for DOD Cyber Red Team (DCRT) activities and notify the JOC Director of DCRT actions when required but in accordance with the trusted agent nondisclosure agreement.

  • Provide an after-hours coordination point for Requests For Support (RFS) inbound to the USCYBERCOM J3 requiring immediate action.

  • Deliver operational deconfliction products (e.g. quarterly operations placemat) as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience as a Cyberspace Analyst or a related functional area.

  • Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communications skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • An active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

  • US citizenship.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
