Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role requires a meticulous individual who will be responsible for entering order numbers in excel spreadsheets, tracking the status of shipments, and following up on the status of purchase orders. The workplace setting is business casual with jeans permitted.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and update order numbers in excel spreadsheets promptly and accurately.

• Keep track of shipment statuses, ensuring all details are up-to-date.

• Follow up on the status of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

• Regularly update and maintain accurate records of all data entry tasks.

• Utilize skills in Data Entry - Numeric, Microsoft Excel, Spreadsheets to effectively perform tasks.

• Communicate with other team members or departments as necessary regarding order statuses and shipments.

• Ensure all data entered is accurate and free of errors.

• Assist in other data entry or administrative tasks as necessary.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to data entry and confidentiality.

• Strive to increase efficiency and accuracy in all assigned tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in a Data Entry role or similar.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software.

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

• Strong numeric data entry skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly.

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
