Poudre School District Department Secretary - Career & Innovation in Fort Collins, Colorado

Information specific to this position:

Pay Range: $19.50 - $21.84 (min - 12% above min)/hr*

Hours/day: 8 hours, 10:00am to 6:00pm

Work calendar days: 215 days

Duration of position: Ongoing

SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing a variety of administrative duties and support to staff within the Career and Innovation department. Coordinate, prepare, maintain, and organize department files, documents, and reports. Support meetings, schedule, calendar, and respond to questions from other staff and the community.

Description of Job Tasks

  1. Provide administrative and clerical support to the Career & Innovation staff including, but not limited to, greeting visitors, and responding to questions from other staff and the public; prepare and distribute communicat

  2. Support meetings, trainings, and reservations for professional development.

  3. Assist staff, community partners and volunteers with check-in procedure and/or problems.

  4. Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.

  5. Assist in preparation & coordination of Future Ready events including marketing, registration, communication, and scheduling.

  6. Coordinate, prepare, maintain, and organize department files, documents, and reports.

  7. Edit websites and manage social media using basic graphic design skills.

  8. Maintain ongoing office supplies, event space needs, and materials inventory.

  9. Assist in preparation and coordination of large, multi-day events; manage building reservations as appropriate.

  10. Assist staff and the community with program information and answer questions regarding PSD programs.

  11. May supervise, train, and/or guide the work of student aides and interns.

  12. Work on special projects as needed.

  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSES:

? High school diploma or equivalent

? Two to three years of related experience required; experience working in an administrative support role in a department or organization prefe
