Hours: 6:15am-4:30pm

What’s a typical day as an Inventory Clerk? You’ll be:

• Conducting daily cycle counts to ensure inventory levels are accurate within ASW

• Researching discrepancies between physical counts and counts in ASW

• Planning, organizing, and checking the accuracy of inbound deliveries

• Ensuring materials are stored properly in compliance with safety procedures

• Overseeing the rotations of inventories within the warehouse

• Loading outbound trucks and pulling will call orders as needed

• Verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments

• Affixing shipping labels on packages and preparing items for shipment

• Unpacking and examining incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, and recording shortages

• Routing items to departments and examining outgoing shipments to ensure specifications are met

• Inserting items into containers and using protective padding

• Using a computer for email and internet information

• Selecting appropriate carriers/truckers and completing necessary shipping documentation

• Tracking shipments as needed

• Performing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Have three or more years of experience working in a warehouse environment and inventory control

• Are computer literate, preferably with knowledge of MS Office

• Are forklift certified or willing to be trained and certified

• Have effective communication skills

• Can perform basic math functions

• Can work independently or within a team environment

• Can handle detail-oriented work

• Have general fluency in English, both verbal and written

• Can interpret instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or scheduled form

• Can perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
