This position is on-site: Fife, WA Position Summary Design, implement, and maintain maintenance procedures to support operational needs and meet overall company goals. Coordinate and oversee servicing and repair of equipment and plant facilities while ensuring adherence to budget. Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties)

  • Respond to operational equipment outages and coordinate repair timeline and priority with appropriate team members.
  • Establish and document preventive maintenance profiles for operational equipment.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedule, assign work to maintenance team members, and ensure timely completion of required activities.
  • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
  • Consult with MRO suppliers and/or equipment representatives regarding operation, servicing, and storage of respective products and equipment.
  • Perform root cause analysis for failures and determines extent of damage to operational equipment and plant facilities; reports findings to appropriate personnel; makes recommendations and/or initiates actions for improvement.
  • Determine best practices and implement improvements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain necessary maintenance supplies and spare parts inventory.
  • Instruct, teach and/or demonstrate troubleshooting methods of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Calculate total cost of ownership to determine repair/replace decisions.
  • Implement, enforce, and demonstrate workplace safety policies and standards.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Other Skills and Abilities: Knowledge and experience with regulatory agencies like, OSHA, EPA, DOT, ANSI and local agencies.
