The Hospice Liaison is responsible for planning, and developing referrals, establishing and maintaining professional relationships with key physician groups and referral sources; acts as a referral source on behalf of Good Shepherd Hospice. The Liaison identifies opportunities for potential market growth and program expansion. The Hospice Liaison is responsible to be a customer service representative and act in a professional and supportive manner at all times. The Hospice Liaison works under general supervision and, according to established policies and procedures, assists patients receiving hospice care, and their families in coping with problems resulting from terminal illness. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, marketing and customer service skills, and act in a professional and supportive manner at all times.
