Your Role: As a patient care nurse in our  Surgery department, you will be working with our board-certified surgeons and team of licensed veterinary technicians and assistants providing care to patients before, during and after their surgical procedures. We perform multiple procedures including TPLO’s, fracture repairs, soft tissue procedures, facial reconstruction, laparoscopic procedures and exploratory abdominal procedures to a name a few!

Our patient care nurses intake all of our surgical procedures and perform hourly treatments on those patients. Their care requires fluid pumps, syringe pumps, administering oral/SQ/IV medications, obtaining vitals including a blood pressure, and basic care for our patients. Our patient care nurses also assist with blood draws, obtaining radiographs and helping prep our surgery cases (shaving, NT, leads, etc.).

• The available schedule for this position is Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:45am-8pm.
