Responsibilities

We are seeking a mission-focusedSr. Network Engineer to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Fairfax, Virginia!

Qualifications

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

• Knowledge and experience with keying devices such as Raytheon KG 345, ViaSat KG 245, LG KG 245A.

• Experience with TCP/IP transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, advanced virtual networking technologies.

• Experience performing upgrades and performing routine network operations and maintenance (O&M).

• Experience identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.

• Experience complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems.

• Experience with network operating and maintenance concepts and methods used to troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN and VoIP.

• Experience with Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing and other technologies.

• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) and spectrum engineering.

• Experience with Optical networking technology and engineering.

• Experience with Satellite communications engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 (six) years' experience

  Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

• Experience with a variety of network technologies and solution architectures.

• Posses a broad understanding of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the networking field.

• Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts.

• Virtualization experience (VDI & VMWare).

• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Experience with security best practices and implementing firewalls and perimeter security measures including VPN technologies.

• Previous experience with Continuous integration, test automation and / or SecDevOps on iterative development projects.

• Experience with Agile Development methodologies.

• Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCNP. ​

  Security Clearance Level

• TS/SCI with Polygraph (current)

  Work Schedule

• Full-time on-site at designated facility.
