Description Facilities Engineer - PLANT OPS (268516) Schedule: FTE 1.0, Evening, Onsite Note: Shift is 8.5 hours/day Start/ End times are 1500-2330 , 2-week work rotation is as follows Tuesday - Sunday Week 1, Tuesday - Friday week 2, Every Monday off and 3-day weekend on week 2.ll Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the operation, maintenance and repair of building systems, structures and associated electrical, mechanical, environmental and utility equipment and distributions. Required Qualifications: Mathematics, Mechanics, Electrical, Blueprint Reading. Completion of recognized apprenticeship journeyman program; OR full journey status; OR extensive applicable work experience, Vocational training may be substituted for work experience. Basic Mechanical ability and aptitude. Preferred Qualifications: Progressively responsible experience in aspects of building construction, maintenance and repair preferably in a healthcare setting where the incumbent has gained skills in areas of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural systems.
