Description We are seeking a Medical Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Evansville, Indiana. As a Medical Data Entry Clerk, you will be tasked with the responsibility of maintaining and auditing patient records, ensuring details are accurate and complete. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the organization and auditing of patient details, ensuring complete and accurate record-keeping.

• Confirm that each page of the patient's record has the patient's name and visit number.

• Leverage your skills in Electronic Medical Record systems, Data Entry, Scanning, and Audit to efficiently process and manage data.

• Utilize software such as Adobe Acrobat and Allscripts for data entry and record management.

• Work independently in the absence of an onsite leader, demonstrating self-reliance and responsibility.

• Be responsive to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Ensure all data entry tasks are completed in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of accuracy.

• Adapt to varying shift schedules as required by the team.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare industry regulations related to data privacy and security. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Electronic Medical Record systems

• Demonstrate strong Data Entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail

• Familiar with Scanning and digitizing physical documents

• Ability to conduct audits on entered data for quality assurance

• Understanding of medical terminologies and standards

• Excellent time-management abilities to meet strict deadlines

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

• Exhibits discretion and understanding of confidentiality requirements

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
