job summary:

An industry leader in engineering and consulting is seeking a wood-industry expert to join its team as a Senior Wood Products Engineer.

This exciting role is multifaceted and involves being the subject matter expert for this firm. You will be attending networking and trade events, exploring business development, acting as an internal consultant for the design team, and an external consultant for client projects. Examples include capital expansion projects on client sites, and developing and overseeing installing process lines and equipment. Typical products you should be familiar with include High/Medium Density Fiberboards, Particleboard, Oriented Strand Board and Laminated Veneer Lumber.

Candidates should be of an engineering background and should have 10+ years of experience in wood products, plants, and processing. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required, and a PMP and Professional Engineers (PE) licenses are preferred.

This role has the potential to lead to company ownership and has the option to sit remotely. However, paid relocation is available to the two firm anchor sites in Eugene, OR or Atlanta, GA for qualified candidates as well!
