Job Title: Safety Specialist

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team and enhance our operational safety and compliance. The role involves identifying and informing management of compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through weekly and monthly audits. You will facilitate the investigation process, maintain necessary paperwork to comply with regulations, and manage data entry into our internal database. Additionally, you will perform observations, audits, and specific training as required. Responsibilities may extend to fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other related activities depending on the business unit and location. You will also participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion.

Hard Skills

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910

  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Minimum of 1 year in an Environmental EHS related field or bachelor's degree in related field

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 43 Weekly.

Work Environment

Shift BHN: Thurs-Sat 6:30p-7am. Training: Mon-Wed, Fri 7:30am-6pm
