The System Administrator is a critical member of the NBCU Cyber Security IAM Operations team responsible for being the face to our customers and providing excellent, world-class customer support. The System Administrator interfaces with all our businesses within NBCUniversal and supports Directory Services, DNS, PKI, and Identity and Access Management Support. This position reports to the Director for IAM Operations within the Cyber Security organization.

Responsibilities

The Systems Administrator position participates on the Identity & Access Management Operations team; you will be responsible for performing the following duties:

  • Work collaboratively across NBCU Cyber and I&AM to help drive operations forward

  • Monitor queues and respond to customer requests surrounding the following services:

  • DNS (Infoblox, Neustar, Microsoft)

  • Directory Services (Azure AD, Active Directory)

  • Group Management, DFS, and other related services

  • Learn, create, and document SOPs around performing tasks and supporting services

  • Support Audit engagements focusing on pulling together reports and remediating findings

  • Splunk Dashboarding

  • PowerShell creation and automation

  • Public Key Infrastructure

  • Review Application Monitoring reports and ensure we have adequate response and alerting

  • Assist in performing RCAs for system-level support issues and incidents

Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in the following technical spaces:

  • Active Directory administration

  • DNS administration (Infoblox, Microsoft DNS)

  • Domain name administration and registration

  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)

  • Windows / Linux / Mac administration and configuration

  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting

  • SQL, Ping, Azure

  • Familiarity with the following technical spaces:

  • SailPoint

  • TOMCAT

  • JBOSS

  • Drupal

Additional Requirements:

  • Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
