The Principal Analyst, Security will help develop, administer, and maintain the program’s security policies and procedures in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). You will be responsible for all personnel security operations to include but not limited to onsite facilities, offsite and remote locations.

This position is an onsite role in El Segundo, CA.

What You Will Do

  • Administer security procedures as they relate to operating in a classified environment for:  personnel processing, access control, security education, visitor control.

  • Process requests for personnel clearances for access to classified information.

  • Process and protect personally identifiable information and other sensitive, personal information with regards to reporting responsibilities in a professional manner.

  • Develop and administer security procedures involving personnel security actions; reporting required information to the customer including adverse information, personnel status changes, foreign contacts, and foreign travel.

  • Prepare adverse reports as specified in SEAD3 reporting requirements.

  • Conduct program briefings/indoctrinations and debriefings.

  • Develop/conduct initial and recurring security education and training materials.

  • Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors via the DD Form 254 or other contractual methods.

  • Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.

  • Provide other security related administrative duties, as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Typically requires bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience in industrial security OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualification We Prefer: ​

  • Previous experience as a security professional supporting in an Industrial Security role

  • Experience with NISPOM and SEAD3 reporting

  • Completed related training and/or certification with DCSA and/or CDSE

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
