Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Materials Planner in El Paso, TX.

This position is responsible for material planning and execution, Inventory Value, DOH, E&O for each product line. This individual will work closely with the plant operations teams to deploy standard process and tools to optimize materials operations, manage Supplier leadership discussions, and escalations to buyers and Commodity Managers. This will include onsite support for driving continuous improvement and problem solving.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $63749.97 - $93499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor inventory transactions to assure material is being processed in an accurate and timely manner. Identify and communicate potential delays and/or problems to internal and external customers which may impede customer delivery.

• Checks shortage report and assures material availability

• Controls Inventory Value and is constantly checking overmax inventory to look for reduction opportunities

• Creation of purchased orders and monitor of material delivery

• Evaluate and recommend changes to planning parameters like lot size, lead time, and safety stock levels

• Troubleshoot MRP exceptions

• Maintain Consignment levels and requests

• Maintain sales reports and analyze risk

• Monthly min/max analysis to avoid shortages or excess

• Lead material Deviations regarding material availability, (Quality, Logistics, Discrepancies)

• Controls items to be with in min-max range

• Lead supplier discussions to avoid disruptions into the plant

• Maintains excess/obsolete material controlled

• Review material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning and logistics

• MRP and ERP discipline and adherence to SIOP

• Maintain good working relationships with customers (internal and external)

• Coordinate with and support accounting department to drive improvements in key business metrics, processes and controls

• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required.

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain required.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in materials, sourcing, or purchasing required.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work within the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or supply chain related field preferred.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

• Engineering to Order (ETO) experience preferred.
