Heritage Environmental Services, LLC Safety / Security Technician - EMT in East Liverpool, Ohio

HTS is located on the Ohio River in East Liverpool, Ohio. Known as the tri-state area, we border Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The facility is approximately 30 minutes from the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and provides opportunity for big city adventures, small town communities, and country living. About the position: Individual assists with plant safety, security, inspections, audits, and training. Provides on-site medical services. Must have current Ohio Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Minimum of two years' experience in an industrial environment. Computer data entry experience. Hazardous waste experience a plus. Firefighting experience required. Background in OSHA industrial safety standards a plus. Must be willing and able to work shifts and weekends. Must be a team player and possess good safety and housekeeping skills. Must attend additional training courses within 24 months to maintain position. Minimum Education: High School diploma or its equivalent. Current Ohio Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Responsibilities include: Provides safety and security services to the facility. Performs plant safety audits and inspections. Provides safety training for plant personnel. Provides on-site medical and EMT services to plant personnel as needed. Verifies accuracy of manifests on incoming trucks and inputs data in computer. Performs other duties as assigned.
