Position Summary

The College of Education at Michigan State University announces a one-year fixed term position at the Assistant Professor level for a candidate of exceptional teaching promise with expertise in the area of special education, with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities and content area learning. This is a full time teaching position for the 2024-2025 academic year. The appointment will be in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education.

Required Degree

Doctorate -special education or a related area

Minimum Requirements

Applicants for this position must have an earned doctorate from an accredited institution of higher education in special education or a related area. Prior experience as a special education teacher or other professional with expertise in evidence-based practices in the area of LD is desirable as is a prior record of successful teaching of undergraduates or graduate students.
