Job Description

As an Electrical Test Equipment Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of various components and systems which are necessary for testing our products. These components and systems range from hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism to electro-pneumatic. Your primary focus will be on the design and development of new electrical test equipment, assemblies or processes to meet our strict cost, schedule, and performance goals. You will also contribute to the design of test equipment to verify the functional performance of our products used on military, commercial, and space vehicles. You will be given the requirements, and be in charge of designing, commissioning, testing and then the systems and software teams will test the products. You will be a part of test integration but not execution.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years’ relevant technical experience OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 1 years of relevant technical experience

• Knowledge in electrical engineering

• 2+ years of experience in designing test equipment

• Experience with using CAD software to create schematics

• Experience working with LabVIEW

• Test integration experience (preferred, not required)

• Any experience with SolidWorks, NX or Cadence (preferred, not required)

• Mechanical, Power/Power Supply, Motion Control, Motor Drives (preferred, not required)

Soft Skills

• Ability to meet strict cost, schedule, and performance goals

• Ability to contribute to the functional performance of our products

• Ability to work on test integration
