ManpowerGroup Procurement Manager in Durham, North Carolina

Our client, a biopharma company is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Durham (will consider other offices) hybrid: 2 days on site

Pay Range: Up to $47/hr

Duration:7 months

What’s the Job?

  • Responsible for supporting global MRO / PPE spend of >£100 million annually across the Global Enterprise

  • Execute and lead supplier contract performance, supplier relationship management programs and operational governance

  • Researches, evaluates and selects suppliers, implementing strategies, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management

  • Support the implementation of Global procurement initiatives, such as Buying Goods and Services, Catalogues, contract review and supplier reduction

  • Business partnering – work collaboratively with EHS, Quality, WREF, site and central engineering functions, Supply Chain and the R&D teams, where appropriate, to support in the delivery of their objectives

What’s Needed?

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or operations within a global or multi-regional Pharmaceutical, Consumer Healthcare, or FMCG environment

  • Adept at managing complex negotiations at management level with both external and internal stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in influencing strategy/ managing across multiple geographies and supply chains
