Our Client is a private, charitable foundation established as an independent entity. Over the past two decades we have been honored to work with – and support – organizations, government entities, and community partnerships across the state, investing $200 million in North Carolina through more than 1,300 grants, collaborations, and special initiatives.

This team is responsible for driving the two most important campaigns that drive the most revenue and new Members - Annual Enrollment (Medicare, insurance for individuals 65+) and Open Enrollment (Medicaid, joint federal and state program that gives health coverage to some people with limited income and resources). There is a concentrated effort in these months to retain existing Members and gather new Members on the market.

• Brainstorms and collaborates with the other team leads to determine appropriate brand messaging for communications projects

• Develops and presents the best alternatives to meet cost/benefit, budget, and corporate marketing strategy requirements.

• Follows visual identity brand guidelines, content, and tone of voice guidelines. Follows guidelines so content is compliant with regulatory and trademark requirements.

• Supervises creation of internally-developed projects for design and direct marketing best practices

Hiring Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in a corporate, agency or studio design environment with increasing responsibility. Professional experience specializing in direct marketing

• Portfolio of produced direct marketing content including direct mail and multiple direct response TV spots 60 seconds or longer

• Direct marketing experience with regional or national brands

• Strong professional references

Hiring Preferences

• A history of willingness and ability to lead and work collaboratively in a high-performance environment

• Successful work performance demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment, and display initiative and innovation on the job

• Leadership experience including supervision of designers and production vendors preferred

• Excellent creative writing and conceptual skills

• Proven ability to develop fresh, original concepts

• Deep knowledge of direct marketing best practices;

• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to meet strict deadlines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

• Located in Eastern or Central time zone

• We would prefer to hire a senior art director/writer team with experience working together
