Here’s the Gist:

Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.  Work with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Manage internal/external supplier relationships for assigned commodity
  • Understand market dynamics
  • Develop and execute long term commodity strategy
  • Manage and prioritize cost reduction programs and business continuity efforts
  • Lead contract negotiations
  • Execute RFP/RFQs as necessary
  • Oversight of supplier forecasting activities

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing      
  • This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
