The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Program Manager to support the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC).

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Program management and administrative tasks to ensure the requirements of the contract are met on schedule. Ensures they adequately supervise and evaluate all personnel who perform services under the contract and that employees demonstrate subject matter expertise in various IT Security policies, hardware, software, and communication technologies.

  • Have the capability and authority to resolve and respond to issues directly with the COR and other Government POCs.

  • Serves as the focal point for all issues, keeping the Government fully informed, both verbally and in writing.

  • Provide project coordination and process improvements through the Quality Control Plan. Drive process improvement in the product development and delivery process.

  • Works with team to plan and administer projects for the overall program that take place at multiple levels with different goals.

  • Analyze project requirements and provide assessments and feedback as well as accurate schedule and cost estimates.

  • Responsible for ensuring employees under this contract are evaluated.

  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Establish work schedules and assignments of employees IAW PWS.

  • Attend meetings directly related to duties IAW PWS to gain insight and/or provide subject matter expert (SME) guidance.

  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

  • Develop evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

  • Manage and synchronize team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities across the contract and the ability to accomplish mission.

  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, and quality and team member performance.

  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle to include all associated IT projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION :

  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field of study. A combination of experience, education, and certifications may substitute for a degree.

  • PMP certification not required but desired.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Program Management and Information Technology supporting the DoD, preferably Army.

  • Be detail-oriented with a keen focus on quality and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrate the highest level of professional through written and verbal communication when presenting products and briefs to senior level management and stakeholders within the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC).

  • Have a thorough understanding of program/project management techniques, methods, and tools.

  • Have the ability to manage large-scale IT projects.

  • Have the ability to identify and understand complex problems/issues and develop solutions.

  • Possess proven ability to manage teams, have demonstrated self-initiative and leadership skills.

  • Be proficient in conflict resolution and resolve concerns/issues related to performance of this Contract.

  • Possess strong organizational and analytical skills.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE :

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
