Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and perform setups of workpieces for correct machining sequence and dimensions.

• Assemble cutting tools and position them in machine spindles or tool changer magazines.

• Operate fork lift trucks and overhead cranes.

• Manually program CNC controllers or load CAM-generated NC programs.

• Manipulate machine controls for setup and machining workpieces via CNC operation.

• Measure workpieces for conformance to specifications and notify supervisor of discrepancies.

• Adjust/change machine feeds, speeds, and cutters to machine parts according to specifications.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Candidate Qualifications:

• Proven knowledge of machines (mills & machining centers), controls, and tool-holding systems.

• Basic mathematical skills including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience.

• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and improve.
