Production Line Lead

We are looking for dynamic Production Line Leads to join our team .

The Production Line Lead will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely production of goods while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You’ll be a strong support system for the Production Supervisor and your fellow team members on the production floor.

Available Shifts -- (4x10’s Monday through Thursday)

DAY Shift -- 5:00 am to 2:30 pm

SWING Shift -- 2:30 pm to 12:00 am

PAY : $20.00 to $23.00 p/hr DOE

Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • Supervise all activities on the production line, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to production schedules.

  • Train new team members in production processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance the skills and capabilities of the production team

Essential Job Functions :

  • Reviewing quality control reports for accuracy and addressing any problems that arise with suppliers

  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure adequate supply for production needs. Coordinate with the procurement team to order materials as needed and minimize stockouts

  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or concerns promptly

  • Maintain open and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Keep all stakeholders informed of production status, issues, and potential delays

  • Keep accurate records of production activities, including production output, downtime, and quality control data. Generate reports as needed to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Who are we looking for ?

  • A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong understanding of production/manufacturing principles and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Previous experience working in a regulated industry like food, supplements, medical devices.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and communicate production issues.

  • Great attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate with team members at all levels.

  • A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

  • Conflict Resolution champion.

Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 year in a leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation and quality control principles

  • Willingness to learn and understand

  • Positive and cooperative attitude is a must.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of working on feet for extended periods of time

  • Performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping

  • Occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

  • Employee may be required to lift 10-50lbs, at time.
