Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit Facilities Manager in Detroit, Michigan
Plans, coordinate, and manage all buildings and facility grounds by ensuring appropriate preventative maintenance, repair, and the on-going operation of all locations in accordance with health and safety standards.
Position Duties:
- Coordinates activities of personnel assigned to repair and maintenance of facilities to minimize interruption of plant operations and improve efficiency.

``` 2. Interviews and hires department personnel. Insures that all assigned personnel are properly trained. Conducts performance appraisals for all department personnel. Reviews performance appraisal for other non-direct personnel as appropriate.

``` 3. Develops systems, policies and procedures to insure organization's facilities are maintained and cleaned on a regular scheduled basis.

``` 4. Supervises, schedule, inspects and approve work of subcontractors of maintenance, janitorial, security or construction services.

``` 5. Ensures maintenance tools, equipment and fleet vehicles are in proper state of operation and are maintained on a regularly scheduled interval.
