Job Description

Delivering and maintaining our modern data, analytics, and decisioning platforms; Working with platform and analytics engineering to enable self-service data movement and access patterns. Supporting the usage of the Data Lake by engineering distributed systems, frameworks, and design patterns; Scripting in Scala, Java, or Python to utilize Hadoop/Spark to collect and manage data at scale; Building, monitoring, and maintaining data ETL pipelines including providing 24/7 support for a one-week period on a rotating basis; Utilizing data pipelines to form a set of processes to move data from a source or multiple sources into a database such as a data warehouse; Assisting in managing and automating Data Governance and Data Security Standards and administering and maintaining data infrastructure; Mentoring junior data engineers in data principles and best practices; Shaping data analytics to gain improved insights from data, solve complex problems, and extract insights from structured and unstructured data; Supporting capabilities with Platform Analytics teams.

This position may also telecommute from any location within the United States.

Salary (Annual): $174,000.00 - $184,000.00

Hours of work: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, position provides 24/7 support for a one week per month on a rotating basis.
