Our mission is to provide an excellent educational experience for our fellows covering all aspects of body imaging. All radiology attendings are actively involved in a variety of educational activities. We offer the full spectrum of state-of-the-art imaging at our 7-story outpatient imaging facility and in our 550-bed main in-patient tower which includes a Level 1 trauma center. Both of these facilities are located on the main campus in the heart of downtown Denver. Graduating fellows will receive the necessary training and resources to excel in either academic or private practice settings following completion of the program.

The Organization

Denver Health is an integrated, efficient, academic safety net health care system and considered a model for the region and the nation. As Colorado's primary safety net institution, Denver Health provides care to one third of Denver's residents at our main campus located at the heart of downtown Denver and our network of community health centers and school-based health clinics. The most recent addition is our 7-story 293,000 square foot outpatient medical center opened in spring of 2021 on the same campus as our inpatient hospital with a total 555 adult, pediatric, and OB/GYN beds.

Denver Health is well known for its world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center and has one of the highest survival rates in the country. The trauma center sees 18,000 patients annually, resulting in 2,700 admissions and many arrive as transfers from 60 regional hospitals for higher level care.
