Analyze construction drawings and prepare detailed cost estimates for mid-sized commercial and residential projects (30%) Conduct site visits required for establishing project scope and estimates (3%) Analyze project scope, pre construction cost, trade packages and overhead costs for a project (10%) Prepare RFP package for subcontractors, manage the bidding process and prepare subcontractor agreements (10%) Create preliminary project schedules in collaboration with the Project Managers on the team (10%) Work with Project Manager on risk management plans for project budget and value engineering options (10%) Set up active budget tracking system to assess the performance of the project budget compared to the estimate (15%) Maintain and update the historical data of project costs for future projects (5%) Apply for necessary building permits with corresponding jurisdictions city/ county (2%) Prepare and maintain an active directory of suppliers and subcontractors (5%) Master s degree in Construction Management or related and 3 years employment with construction industry experience comprising project management and estimating, or Bachelor s degree in same field and 5 years employment with same experience.
