Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the transport industry. Based in Denver, Colorado, the selected candidate will be involved in various aspects of bookkeeping, including reconciliations, collections, and working within the general ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Managing account reconciliation and maintaining accurate financial records

• Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Implementing bookkeeping practices and data entry tasks

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial tracking

• Facilitating the month-end close process

• Utilizing Quickbooks Online for various accounting duties

• Managing cash applications and ensuring they are correctly applied

• Addressing and resolving customer credit inquiries

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary actions for delinquent payments. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Proven experience in Bookkeeping

• Skills in Data Entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close processes

• Familiarity with Quickbooks Online

• Previous experience in the Transport industry is preferred

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Experience in managing confidential and sensitive information

• Relevant certification or degree in accounting or finance is a plus

• Willingness to continuously improve and update knowledge and skills.
